Your doctor can identify what may be causing your symptoms, arrange tests if needed, provide treatment advice, update prescriptions, prepare referrals, and plan follow-up care as required.

If you have cold or flu symptoms, please wear a mask when visiting the clinic. You may also be asked to complete a RAT test before attending, depending on your symptoms.

Fees

Smith Street Medical Centre, Gungahlin, is a mixed billing clinic. Bulk billing is available for eligible patients, including:

  • Children under 16 years of age
  • Pension Card holders
  • Concession Card holders

Please note that Saturday and after-hours appointments incur a higher fee.

Appointments cancelled within two hours, or with no notice will attract a DNA fee of
$60.
